Through expressive storytelling and American Sign Language (ASL), Kentrell brings the story to life in a fun, inclusive way that welcomes all children. Celebrate National Ice Cream Day at Miami Children’s Museum with a weekend full of sweet fun for the whole family! Our Scoop & Play sensory bin invites little ones to explore colorful scoops, sprinkles, and toppings as they dig, pour, and scoop in a playful ice cream-themed activity that builds fine motor skills and sparks imagination. Enjoy free ice cream generously provided by Florida Dairy Farmers, then head over to our Ice Cream Slime Lab to create your own fluffy, scented slime in an ice cream bowl, complete with sprinkles and sweet-smelling essential oils. Gather for an interactive ice cream storytime and top off the day with a festive new Face Painting Station featuring sweet, scoop-inspired designs by the talented artists from Dizzy Doodle.
