Celebrate Rosh Hashanah at Miami Children’s Museum with a day filled with light, creativity, and tradition! Families can roll beeswax candles or create glowing LED candle jars at our Candle-Making Station, exploring how light symbolizes peace, hope, and joy in the new year. Kids will love making honey slime with bumble bees, a sweet nod to the holiday’s traditions. Plus, enjoy a special story time with PJ Library, featuring engaging tales, arts and crafts, and holiday-inspired snacks to welcome the Jewish new year in a fun and meaningful way.
Baby STEAM: Where STEM meets the ARTS – a first step into STEAM discovery
Baby STEAM is an enriching weekly program designed to captivate our youngest visitors while showcasing Miami Children’s Museum’s commitment to playful, early learning. With a unique blend of science, technology, engineering, art, and math—tailored for ages 1 to 3—each session offers sensory-rich, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. By highlighting gallery exploration, art integration, and interactive storytelling, Baby STEAM positions the Museum as a leader in early childhood education and STEAM programming, while providing valuable content for family engagement, sponsorship visibility, and community outreach.
Get ready for The Ultimate Cardboard Playground, an imaginative celebration of Worldwide Day of Play on September 27 & 28, 2025! For one weekend only, we’re transforming our museum into a hands-on cardboard wonderland. Kids will build towering box cities, rolling robots, and cozy forts using cardboard of all sizes, fabric, wheels, and building tools. Plus, don’t miss the Not a Box theater show, where our performers bring the magic of make-believe to life on stage. This is more than just play; it’s a full sensory experience that sparks creativity, teamwork, and storytelling.
