MCM’s 7th Birthday Celebration

Join Miami Children’s Museum as we celebrate our seventh anniversary in its Watson Island home. Get ready to play learn imagine create with lots of fun and games, and don’t forget to sing happy birthday to MiChiMu, MCM’s big, blue mascot!
A prehistoric adventure for the entire family is now open at the Miami Children's Museum.
Enter our time machine and journey back 230 million years into the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods when dinosaurs roamed the earth. 
The exhibit will entertain and educate, as children will learn about scale through an interactive light display, experience the magnitude of dinosaurs’ size with a life size footprint, learn the difference between meat and plant eating dinosaurs, and discover the evolution of dinosaurs into birds, their closest living descendents.
Zumba for Kids

Join our Zumba Master Trainer for this 30 minute high energy and motivating Zumba class. It offers unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO".

Jeffrey Deen let’s families follow his rhythm each month at the Miami Children’s Museum. Performing on various percussion instruments from around the world, Jeffrey captivates his audience and them invites them to join the fun by handing out a drum to each member.

Not So Scary Family Halloween Bash!

Whether families trick or treat their way around the Museum's 14 galleries, brave the haunted house, test their knowledge in the mad scientist lab or create crazed crafts, families are bound to have a BEWITCHING time! All funds raised for the event will directly support MCM's scholarship program, ensuring the highest quality educational and arts programming for South Florida's youth and families.
