The following Statement has been issued by the Miami Children’s Museum:
We want to assure you that Miami Children’s Museum is closely monitoring the coronavirus emerging situation. Thankfully, there are currently no confirmed cases of the virus in Miami-Dade County but we are nevertheless taking every precaution and following the latest CDC updates. We are continuing our thorough nightly cleaning and disinfecting protocol at our Watson Island location and heightening our focus on preventive hygiene, hand washing and institutional cleaning through the addition of utilizing an electrostatic sprayer for disinfecting.
We have signage posted at the entrance to the Museum and ask that all persons (adult or child), as well as our staff, refrain from visiting the Museum when they are ill.
We continue to monitor and follow all recommendations from the CDC, World Health Organization, City of Miami, and Miami Dade County and if necessary implement a contingency plan for our institution in the highly unlikely event of the spread of the coronavirus in our area and will remain in communication with you.

Miami Children’s Museum has tested practices that work to keep kids safe while playfully learning. We have reviewed our existing practices and we are leveraging our roles as trusted resources so that the Museum can remain responsive in service to our communities.
