Today we are celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and the end of Ramadan! Eid al-Fitr, also called the "Festival of Breaking the Fast" is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. We have two very special guests joining us all the way from Chicago to show us how to make pakoras - a flavorful and delicious dish used to break the fast!

Join us as we read an inspiring story about a little girl's first day of school in America. Overcoming her fears at starting something new, Danbi's story is one of courage, kindness, and acceptance.
