We are celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month with Krystal and other members of our Theatre Troupe today, and learning about the ukulele! A small guitar-like instrument, the ukulele is a member of the lute family of instruments and was introduced to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants from Madeira. Join us as we learn about one of our favorite instruments in this singalong!

The Olympics start on Friday, July 23, 2021! Join "Big Pete" and the rest of our EMCM Sports broadcasters as we take you inside Japanese culture and tradition, and the history behind this year's Olympic mascots, Miraitowa and Someity.

Dance is one of our favorite forms of movement at MiChiMu! Today Diana, from our Theatre Troupe, is joined by special guests from Mareva Tahiti Polynesia who will show us some traditional Tahitian Polynesian dance moves! Māuruuru roa!

From hide-and-seek to dress-up, then bath time and a kiss goodnight, there's no limit to what a loving family can do together. In honor of Rainbow Families Month we are reading “Mommy, Mama, and Me” by Lesléa Newman with our friend Braden, in celebration of his love for his two mommies!

In 1865, enslaved African Americans were notified of their freedom by Union troops in Galveston Bay, TX — two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.
