Today we are celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and the end of Ramadan! Eid al-Fitr, also called the "Festival of Breaking the Fast" is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. We have two very special guests joining us all the way from Chicago to show us how to make pakoras - a flavorful and delicious dish used to break the fast!

Join us as we read an inspiring story about a little girl's first day of school in America. Overcoming her fears at starting something new, Danbi's story is one of courage, kindness, and acceptance. Diana, from our Theatre Troupe, is joined by our friend Ann Choi, a Korean American, to read to us today!
